Imepeachment The Silent I Word

First Silent Anniversary “December 30, 2006”

Writer’s Help Wanted:

My cranium gray matter says impeachment but there must be another way?

Based on what I have read I’m requesting your help to have Americans become more informed regarding the misleading of America by the media and the Bush administration. Jimmy Carter’s 21st book: “Palestinian Peace Not Apartheid” page 209.

AND

Amy & David Goodman’s book:
“Static” Pages 153-154 talk about torture: (One-year anniversary 12, 30, 2006)
President Bush declared on December 15, 2005 that the legislation he was signing, after fighting it for months, made it “clear to the world that this government does not torture.” But the Detainee Treatment Act of 2005 (the McCain amendment) had been almost completely eviscerated by that point. At the insistence of Republican senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, with the acquiescence of Michigan Democrat Carl Levin, the bill stripped Guantanamo detainees of the right to challenge their detentions in U.S. courts, thereby reversing a landmark decision that explicitly affirmed these rights for the detainees. So while the act bans torture, Guantanamo detainees, who UN investigators, among others, confirm are being tortured by their American captors, have no way to enforce the law. Page 154, two weeks later, “December 30, 2005”, President Bush issued a “signing statement”. “The executive branch shall construe [the law] in a manner consistent with the constitutional authority of the president ... as commander in chief.”

Impeachment:
The silent “I” word.
Using a “signing statement” President Bush was able to disregard the legislation he signed into law two weeks earlier because he was the President. Now one year later the public is in the bliss of signet anesthesia. Americas must blame themselves for allowing Nancy Pelosi, Henry A. Waxman, Tom Lantos and the media because they have become silent in using the “I” word.
So again I appeal the need for your skills in research, promotions and written expertise.

AND

One year one month and another media silent Anniversary?

From Scott Shane of the New York Times News Service, which was published by my local San Bernardino, CA newspaper, The Sun, on Friday, December 2, 2005.
Page A8:
The National Security Agency releasing hundreds of pages of long-secret documents on the 1964 Gulf of Tonkin incident that played a critical role near the beginning of the Vietnam War.

The material was posted on the Internet at midnight Wednesday included one of the largest collections of secret, intercepted communications ever made available for study. The most provocative document is a 2001 article in which an agency historian argued that the agency’s intelligence officers “deliberately skewed” the evidence passed on to policymakers on the crucial question of whether North Vietnamese ships attacked U.S. destroyers on Aug. 4, 1964. Based on the mistaken belief that such an attack had occurred, President Johnson ordered air strikes on North Vietnam, and Congress passed a broad resolution authorizing military action.

The historian, Robert J. Hanyok, wrote the article in an internal publication and it was classified top secret despite the fact that it dealt with events in 1964. Word of Hanyok’s findings leaked to historians outside the agency, who requested the article under the Freedom of Information Act in 2003.

Some intelligence officials said they believed the article’s release was delayed because the agency was wary of comparisons between the roles of flawed intelligence in the Vietnam War and in the war in Iraq. Hanyok declined to comment on Wednesday. But don Weber, an agency spokesman, denied that any political consideration was involved.

“There was never a decision not to release the history” written by Hanyok, Weber said. On the contrary, he said, the release was delayed because the agency wanted to make public the raw material Hanyok used for his research.

“The goal here is to allow people to wade through all that information and draw their own conclusions,” he said.

Thomas S. Blanton, director of the National Security Archive at George Washington University, called the release of the document “terrific,” noting that the eavesdropping material known as signals intelligence, or signet is the most secret information the government has.

“NSA may be the most closed mouthed of all U.S. government agencies,” said Blanton. “The release of such a large amount of signet is unprecedented.”

Once more I and the world plea for your help.

E-letter You Might Want To Send

Become a Citizen Warrior and Google to learn about the Top enemy(s).

The below request is made based on Jimmy Carters book “Palestine Peace Not Apartheid” page 209

“...voices from Jerusalem dominate in our media...”

Google newspapers or magazines that have staff in Jerusalem and therefore may write OVERLY bias articles for Israel, thus prolonging the threat to America and our soldiers.

Based on your research you might want to take action one-way or another such as boycott or promote buying such papers, magazines and movie producers. Request educational institutes to buy or not to buy their stocks and expose banks an investment companies that do. Investigate their public records and tax returns. Take legal actions?

Google example:
James Bennit, from 2001-2003, New York Times, Sunday Magazine, Jerusalem staff chief.

Google and Promote your ideas with letter collectors etc.

“..., voices from Jerusalem dominate in our media, ...”

Two other interrelated factors have contributed to the perpetuation of violence and regional upheaval: the condoning of illegal Israeli actions from a submissive White House and U.S. Congress during recent years, and the deference with which other international leaders permit this unofficial U.S. Policy in the Middle East to prevail.

There are constant and vehement political and media debates in Israel concerning its policies in the West Bank, but because of powerful political, economic, and religious forces in the United States, Israeli government decisions are rarely questioned or condemned, voices from Jerusalem dominate in our media, and most American citizens are un a ware of circumstances in the occupied territories. At the same time, political leaders and news media in Europe are highly critical of Israeli policies, affecting public attitudes.

Israel Top Threat To World Peace !

Americans were surprised and angered by an opinion pool, published by the International Herald Tribune in October 2003, of 7,500 citizens in fifteen European nations, indicating that Israel was considered to be the top threat to world peace, ahead of North Korea, Iran, or Afghanistan.

The United States has used its U.N. Security Council veto more than forty times to block resolutions critical of Israel. Some of these vetoes have brought international discredit on the United States, and there is little doubt that the lack of a persistent effort to resolve the Palestinian issue is a major source of anti-American sentiment and terrorist activity throughout the Middle East and the Islamic world.

I M Democracy 4 U Now

DEMOCRACY NOW IS FOR YOU AND ME NOW !
The below two perceptions are easily understood in two quality non-fiction books.
1. An Arab and Israeli religious belief “Land Before Peace”
2. Jewish controlled financing of the American news media is bias.

On 12/15/06 Brian Lamb interviewed Amy and David Goodman authors of “Static”. I then decided to purchase the book “Static” because the subject was related to my reading of Jimmy Carters new book “Palestine Peace Not Apartheid”. Carters book gives facts not presented by the U.S. media and “Static” provides evidence how the media is bias.

Palestine Peace Not Apartheid”, pages 131 and 149.
1. Israelis and Arabs would rather have land before peace.
2. Their land and their boarders are their religion.

Carter’s book, NOT the U.S. media, shows how the Israelis aggravate the Palestinians by moving into Palestinian land and then when the Palestinians fight back the Israelis go to war and take the land. Page 84-85, Carter gives the 1967 6-Day War as an example and why the 6-Day War’s new borders will bring NO peace, page 102.

Carter and the Goodmans' go on to show how Israel uses war as a distraction to grab land and how the news media, mostly funded by Israel, doesn’t want clear thinking about the religious history regarding land before peace and the “details” as to why peace contracts where broken. The media has distracted American into thinking we are fighting for Democracy, and maybe for some oil too.

PS
Authors David and Amy Goodman are creators of the non-profit organization called: Democracy Now
http://www.democracynow.org/

Ethnocentrism:
The practice of judging another culture by the standards of one’s own culture.

Cultural relativism:
The practice of evaluating a culture by its own standards.

The media wants us to think that the Israeli and Arab’s religions are based on faith alone and that Arab or Israeli land is no more important to their religion then American land is to the Christian religion.

NOTE:
One of the most powerful points of the book was not necessarily the detail supporting the allegations against the Israelis but how Carter was able to talk with the assorted leaders in order to get the details to support his allegations. I can’t think of anyone today who is trusted as much as Carter by Israeli and Arab leaders.
